- Hugh glanced at the bundle in his hand. If he used it, then people would die. He would be charged with murder and that would be the end of it. He looked up at the snarling, hate filled face of an approaching man, knew he had no choice and began unwrapping.
Screams filled the air as a vehicle careered through the crowd, scattering people left and right. The machine skidded to halt, hovering a few inches off the ground.
Megan's jaw dropped as the rider pushed her long blonde hair behind her ears and a familiar face cracked into a broad smile. "Cousin, I thought you might need a ride. Jump on."
